This has been one of my personal guitars for the past few years. Every Cruz '29 was a sweet sounding instrument. They match up very well in over-all quality and sound, but the sound of the Santa Cruz is closer to what I had expected from everything I had read about all-mahogany guitars. This is one of the earlier ones from the original batch of old growth Mahogany used on this model. Unfortunately, the SC 00 sound hole is non-standard size and slightly smaller so the usual (only) common and cheap solution - the feedback buster - did not fit or work for me.
